A Few Quick Notes 266

-Though I didn't expect it, we managed to get a few centimeters of snow last night. At time the snow was actually quite heavy. While we didn't have much snow today we did manage to stay below zero so we didn't see much melting. Unfortunately it seems that we aren't to be so lucky tomorrow. At the moment the forecast is suggesting that we should be above zero for at least two days. I can't say that I am really looking forward to the slush.

-As is our Saturday evening routine, Neil and I had an Ultimate game last night. Again, as seems to be our habit, we were slaughtered. Fortunately the opposing team was quite pleasant, making the experience about less painful than it could have been.

On our bus ride home we heard the dispatcher send out a warning to bus drivers to watch out for the snow. While they were likely doing this for insurance reasons, one would imagine that the drivers, as the ones in the middle of it, would be aware of the need to take it easy (especially given the number of routes that had already been re-routed due to weather).

-We had another turkey for dinner tonight. This means another week of turkey based left-overs, a great break from our sub-par pork chops.

-I am scheduled to start giving my second round of lectures this week (which are part of my TAing duties). Should be fun. Hopefully they go well.
